| Dear Natural Wayer, What a week! Drove up to George in the Western Cape to do a talk on Weight loss and Detoxification. Fantastic group of people. Thank you to Sarah Kalell and Pamela De Jager for always doing a great job! I was struck this last week by just how easy it is to take our health for granted. I had to have a filling replaced (that had been put in badly) the dentist insisted on an injection and forgetting how I always react to them, I complied. Anyway to cut the whole story short, I developed very itchy eyelids, a bad sinus headache and 'hives type' of symptoms. It appears local anesthetics, affect my adrenal glands (always have, even when I ate badly) bottom line they are toxic, containing a painkiller like; • Prilocaine Hydrochloride (tradename: Citanest)• Articaine Hydrochloride (tradenames: Septocaine, Septanest, Astracaine, Ultracaine)Bupivacaine Hydrochloride (tradename: Marcaine• Mepivacaine Hydrochloride (tradenames: Carbocaine, Arestocaine, Isocaine, Polocaine, Scandonest)• Lidocaine Hydrochloride (UK: Lignocaine) (tradenames: Xylocaine, Alphacaine, Lignospan, Octocaine) Then the anesthetic also contains adrenaline (epinephrine) and sodium metabisulphite (part of the Sulphur dioxide family) All the symptoms I experienced are listed as possible side effects. I had to stay on raw and juices, took loads of BarleyLife, Just carrots and Bee Pollen, Propolis, Royal Jelly and Lycium plus. Really made a huge difference. We have been seeing the most amazing results from our detox programs, Nicky lost 5.2kg (about 12 pounds) on the 9 day Detox, but more than that, we have seen an overwhelming amount of people who feel unbelievably well. I am sending you some great recipes to detox by, so you can see just how delicious you can eat. No carrot sticks and bean sprouts! Then I am starting a series of cookery demos and lectures combined in October. There are 4 Sessions starting with; Tuesday - October 4 - 1. Some weeks back when I went to see Prieska (the lady in Diepsloot, Johannesburg) who looks after 26 children that have been left home alone and sometimes locked out of their homes by caregivers who are working or looking for work and have no support system or income to pay for day care. What struck me was that each child (and it is like this every time I see them and the visits are unannounced always!) absolutely glows with good health. Prieska is an amazing person, she teaches the children English, about God and how to eat healthy on a tight budget. All this in a tiny 3-roomed house. She has been told by the local council that her space is too small and needs to add on a separate room for the children, with a covered verandah and separate toilet. This is going to cost her more money than we give her on a weekly basis and although she has saved every spare penny and relies entirely on charity, she has only managed to get a quarter of the bricks needed. She still needs cement - at least 30 bags, more bricks, windows and 2 doors. If any of you can spare even a small financial gift, please click here. 100% of donations are given to Prieska. It takes a community to raise a child, and right now, most of us are in a position to help these children, so please click here and see what you can afford, even R50 will buy almost 1 bag of cement. Here are her banking details if you can deposit directly into her account that would be fantastic..
