Dear ,

I posted this on my blog today and know that many of you are unable to open blogs if you work in corporate companies so thought I would share this.

"IT IS EASIER TO MOVE FROM FAILURE TO SUCCESS THAN IT IS TO FROM EXCUSES TO SUCCESS " - John C Maxwell

This rang so true for me.  In my job as a Life Coach I deal with taking Responsibility for your life and what happens in it.  There are one of three things that we can do in any situation.  We can Justify why we have not, or are not doing, something.  We can Lay Blame on someone else for not doing, having, be-ing and in both those examples we are giving away our power!

Or, we can take Responsibilty and get on with our lives and how we want our lives to pan out.  So, reading John's message for the day really hit home for me.

Are you taking responsbility or are you making excuses in your life?

It is a long time since I posted anything on the blog which in a way is a good thing, because it means that I have been really busy.  What a pleasure to be busy in times like this.  We are officially in a recession, but that doesn't mean that we have to curl up and wait for it to end.

If we change our mindset to one of abundance and expect that our actions will reap us the rewards, they will!

Look around you and see how many really successful people are ignoring the recession, totally!  They are not letting this get them down.  Yes, they may not have as much business as last year, or the year before, but that doesn't paralyse them.  It spurs them into action.

They realise that they have a choice?  Either they expect that things have slowed down and they must sit around and wait - at the cost of their business, or their homes etc.

Or, they can take responsibility and find ways to keep their business, their homes their cars, etc.  In the years that SA was not allowed to deal with the rest of the world because of embargoes we found a way to keep our economy thriving.  We did things differently and a lot of good came out of that and when we could eventually start playing with the rest of the world, we were ready for them.

So, I suppose my message today is choose what you want to do and then do it.  Don't let the fact that we are in a recession become your excuse for sitting on your butt and doing nothing!

Namaste'

Bev
