Rufa is the perfect blend of power and size

Rufa is the perfect solution where both performance and a smaller size is required. It mixes the performance of its bigger family members with a very attractive form factor.

Rufa comes in left and right versions to ease implementation and secure the performance. It also shows a great bandwidth that makes the antenna less sensitive to surroundings and changes to application.

The matching circuit has been designed separately for each of the bands and will work in one of the bands only depending on the matching circuit: WiMAX 2.3 GHz or WiMAX 2.5 GHz or ISM 2.4 GHz.

Above- and Below-the-Rails Low On-Resistance Analog Switches

The MAX14759/MAX14761/MAX14763 analog switches are capable of passing bipolar signals that are beyond their supply rails. These devices operate from a single +3.0V to +5.5V supply and support signals in the -25V to +25V range.

The MAX14759 is a single-pole/single-throw (SPST) analog switch, while the MAX14761 is a dual-SPST analog switch. The MAX14763 is a single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) analog switch.

Ember unveils IP stack roadmap for smart grid applications

Ember unveiled plans for the release of its Internet Protocol (IP)-based low-power wireless networking stack for smart metering and smart grid applications.A very early version of the Ember IP Stack has already been available to a limited group of customers and Ember plans to progressively expand the availability to a larger base of its customers in the coming months as features get added and the stack undergoes higher levels of testing. Ember’s plans call for a Beta release of the stack in Q3 2011 followed by general availability by the end of the year. The Ember IP stack is targeted at smart grid applications, especially smart meters and home area network (HAN) devices.
