THANK YOU FURY MOTOR GROUP

Hi Everyone

In the last newsletter you received some useful information of the club and the developments within it. We trust that you have a better understanding of what we are trying to achieve, and that we can rely on your support. You can contact us or send an e-mail to info@ennerdalerfc.org.za or visit www.ennerdalerfc.org.za if you would like to become part of a dynamic and the most progressive rugby club in South Africa.

Some of the things we hope to achieve this year are, to win the league, hold a successful junior rugby festival in June, and take the boys on a trip to George to watch and experience the IRB Sevens. But, we first have to get their buy in as this will take a lot of work from them and your generousity. We had a meeting on Monday to spell out where we stand and what the situation is of the club as well as the dreams and aspiration of the management. To some of the boys everything went over their heads as playing is all they are interested in. Nevertheless, they understand what we want to achieve. Most importantly we need your help to achieve our goals, especially when it comes to raising funds for the trip.

Watch this space for future information.

I am mindful of the fact that some of you steal some time to read our newsletters. We want you to read everything we have to say on this newsletter and respond to it and the contents thereof. I don’t want to let you read all my personal views on the newsletter; therefore, I invite you to read my blog

Pre-Season Friendly Games

We have to get the boys in shape before the season starts. Therefore, we will be playing a series of friendly matches. Tomorrow will be our first friendly match. Read More

Fury Motor Group Rugby Development Programme

Once again Ennerdale Rugby Football Club would like to thank Fury for their sponsorship and their commitment to the development of rugby. We spent some time with their friendly staff before the handing over of the sponsor.

As we reflected over past four years we recalled some of the moments experienced. I would like to say to the group that their contribution has made a huge difference in the existence of this club. In our first year as a club we were the whipping boys of the Presidents league.

As Wesley Snipes said in the movie “White Men Can’t Jump” “A black man will rather lose and look good than lose and look bad” You, sure as hell made us look good whilst losing. Their contribution has made us look like champions the year thereafter. As a result we ended up as champions.

This year we will be playing in the President’s League again. It will feel damn good winning and looking good. We thank you Fury Motor Group and all your associate sponsors, Castrol, Rex Diff & Gearbox and ITEC Central. Guess where I will buy when the good Lord bless me financially.

God Bless you and may your business go from strength to strength.

Ranleigh
