Based on requests from users around the world, Intergraph have embarked on a drive for localized versions of the popular “Software University” that is held annually in Houston Texas. Chempute Software and Intergraph are proud to announce that CAU Express 2012 will be coming to Johannesburg, South Africa on 22 March 2012. CAU Express 2012 is open to all Intergraph software users, for a nominal entry fee. CAU Express 2012 consists of in depth training sessions on CADWorx, CAESAR II, and PVElite, all packed into a one-day, high-powered learning experience. Intergraph CADWorx, CAESAR II, and PV Elite product experts from Houston, USA will be assisting you in expanding your technical knowledge that will not only leave you well informed, but assist you in becoming a better plant designer and engineer, whilst networking and sharing your experience with others. Intergraph Houston is sending out 3 of their software experts. David Diehl will be running the CAESAR Training Sessions, while Ray Delaforce will be running the PVElite sessions. Sonia Delgadillo is running the CADWorx sessions. All CAESAR/PVELITE/CADWorx users will benefit greatly from attending these sessions. The event will be capped off with product focused Special Interest Groups, where users will get the opportunity to discuss items directly with Intergraph Staff, as well as an early evening braai with complimentary drinks, for networking and socializing with fellow users, Intergraph and Chempute Staff.

Ray joined Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis Solutions group in 2003. Ray provides Technical Support and Product Development for PVElite. His duties include training in the use of PVElite both in the United States and abroad.

David Diehl graduated with a BSME from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA in 1976. Upon graduation he took a post as a Dynaflex technical support representative for Auton Computing in New York City. After four years David relocated to Houston, Texas providing mainframe-based piping system analysis services. In 1986, he took a position at Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions (the COADE) introducing and selling CAESAR II, the worlds first PC-based pipe stress analysis package. While
at ICAS Dave earned his Professional Engineering license and currently is the product manager for CAESAR II, is the lead instructor for CAESAR II, and manages all training for ICAS. For the last ten years Dave has participated in the B31.3 Section Committee and currently chairs the Design Task Group there. He also serves as a Director of SPED – the Society of Piping Engineers and
Designers.
Sonia Delgadillo is the Senior CADWorx Applications Specialist for the CADWorx Plant Design Suite, including CADWorx Plant and P&ID Professional, CADWorx Design Review and CADWorx fieldPipe. Sonia joined the Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis Solutions group in January 2009, and is responsible for product presentations, training and end-user support. She has five years experience teaching designers, engineers, owner operators and EPC firms to develop AND implement best practices to improve their effectiveness.
