Launch of MyListManager Version 8

After several delays, Version 8 has finally been launched. To get the most of our the new release, there are few items each Member must address.

Please can each member go through their MyListManager account settings and make these changers, these will help with the release of the next stage of Version 8 next week.

Edit your Mailing List's Settings. In particular :
1. Defaults: Public or Private list. Public List will appear in Article Central, Archive Central, RSS Central and other areas of the public section of MyListManager. If you do not want your archived newsletters published, set your Mailing List to a Private List. Doing so, will also prevent Subscribers from joining your list via any Subscription forms on the web etc.
2. Defaults: Default Category. Select an appropriate Category for your Newsletter. This will be the default category your newsletters are assigned to when publishing them.
3. Defaults: Description. Enter a short, 255 characters or less, description of your Newsletter and what Subscribers can expect to receive. This will appear in several sections including Subscription Central.
4. Footer Links: You now have greater control over the links that appear at the foot of your email messages. Select the links and icons you want included.
Update your Mailing List Signatures if you're using them. There are many new markers available, and some have been removed.
Update your Survey Settings. In particular:
1. Survey Central will automatically publish all Surveys that are set as Open, Live and fall within the validity date if one is set. If you do not want your Surveys open to the General Public, set them as Closed in each Survey's Settings.
2. Add a description for each Survey in its Settings. Survey Central will publish all Open surveys along with the description. A good description is more likely to compel the visitor to take a closer look.

Awesome to see a company coming up with new version all the time. Well done guys, this version is absolutely amazing. Easy to use and great functionality.
