Spring has almost sprung! (Just a few days early), let’s make a conscious effort to stop and smell the flowers and appreciate the beauty around us.

Pen & Pencil Toppers
Make a bouquet of flowers to brighten your desk or locker.

Great for class projects, scouts,
birthday party crafts or gifts. |
What you will need |

- bright color of fun foam
- pencils or pens
- scissors
- hole punch
|

DIRECTIONS
Trace any of the flower, star or leaf patterns on the fun foam, cut apart and punch a hole where the dash is. Pull over the eraser end of your pencil. Layer leaves with flowers. |

Use a cleaned out, small, plastic chocolate milk 'chug' container for a vase, tie with a ribbon at the top. | |
3. YUMMY FOR SNACK TIME! – Marie-Choc squares
|
Ingredients:
- 1 pkt marie biscuits
- Pkt 500g icing sugar, sifted
- 1 egg
- 250g margarine
- 75ml cocoa, sifted (5 tablespoons)
Directions:
- Crush the biscuits finely (my trick is to put them in a zip lock bag and stand on to crush)
- Melt marg in deep saucepan
- Add icing sugar and cocoa
- Stir over moderate heat till smooth
- Stir egg in very fast
- Take mixture off the stove and add crushed biscuits
- Pour into greased container, allow to cool, cut into squares when cold. Keep in the fridge! Enjoy
