Isaiah 26:3 (Amplified Bible) There are days when I wish I were an ostrich and could just bury my head in the ground and let the world pass me by. Days when I look at the world and see nothing but wars, disease, famine, political turmoil and economic crisis, and all of it overwhelms me. As I look around me at more and more people out of work or barely able to live on what they are earning; more and more people dying of diseases barely heard of in the past, businesses closing down daily and people loosing their homes, increased crime, and an increasing lack of any type of morality, I feel as if there’s no future for anyone anymore. In fact, if I look around me, the future fills me with fear. On days like this I battle to stay focused, but focused I have to be, focused on God and His Word which is the only thing that will never change, and so the only thing I can truly depend on, and trust in. Only in Him will our minds find peace in the midst of the chaos of this world. Only in Him are we able to overcome the worst of circumstances and come out the other side richer in character. And only HE can save us from the self destruction that threatens us when the world overwhelms us!! Live in ‘CHRIST’ not ‘CRISIS’!!!! His love NEVER fails!!!!
