DAILY WORD – FRIDAY 25 JUNE 2010

JESUS SAID TO HER, I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. WHOEVER BELIEVES IN (ADHERES TO, TRUSTS IN, AND RELIES ON) ME, ALTHOUGH HE MAY DIE, YET HE SHALL LIVE. JOHN 11:25

We are not ‘dead men walking’ but rather we are children of the living God, having His resurrection life living in us.

The problem is that so often we forget to ‘adhere to, trust in, and rely on’, and rather lean on our own understanding to get us through the day.

We need to die to our own thoughts, opinions, attitudes and decisions, in order that we might live in the resurrected power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
