 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Colossians 3:10

Image is a word much used today – we hear such a lot of talk about having a good self image or a bad self image or even a low self image.

The one thing all these statements have in common is the word ‘SELF’ --- we are constantly bombarded by images showing us ‘what we should look like, and articles telling us what we should be like.

We are introduced to ‘worldly’ role models and encouraged to emulate their life styles --- but at the end of the day, who do we really want to be?

The one thing I do know is that trying to be like someone else, and trying to have the lifestyle of another person has never made anyone happy --- we have to be who we were created to be in order to know true peace and contentment.

Gods Word tells us that we were created in His image, and that as we yield to His majestic love, He will transform us into the beautiful image of His son Jesus Christ.

This image transcends all worldly ideals of what ‘perfection’ is – this image removes all the self torment of ‘not making the grade’ in this ‘worlds’ opinion --- and this image is incorruptible – divine to its very core --- bring life and fulfillment to those of us that take it on.

So today --- think about it --- who do you want to be like????
