DAILY WORD – TUESDAY 6 APRIL 2010

FOR JEHOVAH GOD IS OUR LIGHT AND OUR PROTECTOR. HE GIVES US GRACE AND GLORY. NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD FROM THOSE WHO WALK ALONG HIS PATHS. (PSALM 84:11)

TODAY---- I spent the whole day on a train to nowhere. I took a long journey to a job that didn’t exist and then traveled all the way back again.

But despite this, I was blessed with my traveling expenses and 4 days pay for my seemingly wasted day.

This made me think of the times in my life when I have trudged along the path of life wondering where I was going and for what purpose.

But today reminded me that, with God, we never travel in vain

He lights our path

Protects us

Gives us grace

Gives us glory

Gives us every good thing

He has placed a path beneath out feet to follow, and yes that path may be tough at times but we never walk it alone.

He lights our paths ---- so therefore we need never fear dark times

He protects us ------ from every work of the enemy

He gives us grace ----- to walk in love, truth and mercy

He gives us glory ---- to shine His powerful presence into the world around us

He gives us every good thing ------ because He loves us, always

Remember today:  When we walk with Him we always walk in the right direction and reach the right destination!
