I've learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.

Philippians 4:11 

I have a great desire to be able to confess, as Paul did, that I am wholly content in my Saviour. We all desire happiness and often go to lengthy material expense trying to find it, but happiness in ‘the world’ is a fleeting thing, there one minute and gone the next.

Real happiness is found in being content, no matter what the circumstances and this happiness can only be found in a relationship with God.

It is His strength that carries us through the tough times – it is His strength that brings us a sense of peace even though we may be in the midst of a storm, and it is IN HIM WHO IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, that we will experience true contentment.
