And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.

Colossians 3:14

Love isn’t always an easy garment to put on; sometimes it’s ill-fitting and makes us feel uncomfortable, like wearing a coat on a hot day. Sometimes it feels too big, as if someone ‘greater’ than us should be wearing it, and sometimes we just don’t feel like the responsibility of wearing it.

But without the garment of love we are just naked people wandering in a cold and often hostile world. It is the garment of love that protects us, equips us, empowers us, and enables us to love and bless others.

So what garment are you wearing today?
