DAILY WORD - INFECTIONS

Daily word Thursday 15th October 2000

"Greed and selfishness spread like infections. And so do generosity and kindness. Let us spread the latter."

I received this yesterday on my e-mails and it struck me how simple but true this statement is.

We all know the saying ‘we are what we eat’ but in many ways ‘we are what we live’. We also project what ‘we live’ on to others, whether positive or negative.

If we live ‘in the world’ subjecting our lives to the ‘worlds’ influences that’s what we will ‘infect’ those around us with --- but if we ‘live in Christ’ everything that He is will gradually permeate our beings, and in turn ‘infect’ the lives of those around us.

So today lets ‘infect’ others with the love of Christ!
