Daily word Tuesday 6th October 2000 

 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (The Message) 

I don’t think I can count the times over the years that I have shouted to God that ‘this time He has pushed me beyond what I can take’! 

In fact I can remember an incident when I was very young, spiritually as well as physically, when I stood in the back garden at night, shook my fist heavenward, and told God in no uncertain terms that I was very angry with Him, as I could not bear the burden I was going through at the time. I was so sure that I had been pushed too far and would never overcome or recover from, what was for me at the time, ‘the end of the world’. 

But as you can see I have lived to tell the tale and have even faced greater trials over the years and yes, each and every time, I have felt --  ‘this is enough, I cant do this’. 

I have shouted, I have cried, I have begged, I have doubted, I have felt anger, fear, resentment, self pity – I could go on and on, but above all this I have survived and yes overcome --- not through my abilities but through the LOVE, MERCY and GRACE of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!!!
