For I am the Lord - I do not change! Malachi 3:6

I am so thankful that there is something I can depend on NOT to change!

Living in a world where fortunes can be won and lost within months, where natural disasters can kill thousands of people without warning, where we can go to work one day and be out of work the next, where our dreams can be seemingly shattered over night --- and I could go on and on!

Needless to say, this world system is built on very shaky ground and if we depend on it for our security we will certainly face disappointment at one time or another.

And so this is why today I am once again so thankful that God doesn’t change, that His promises are eternal, as is His love and grace. I am so thankful that whatever I face today He is with me, wanting to guide and bless me despite my circumstances and not because of them.

Yes today I am thankful that I can throw myself into His arms knowing he will never drop me!

So who or what will you trust in today?
