DAILY WORD - strength

He will keep you strong right up to the end! 1 Corinthians 1:8

I am so glad that I have a God that has promised to keep me strong as there are many days that I feel anything but strong.

One thing I have realized over the years is that feeling weary and weak has nothing to do with lack of faith. In fact it is our faith that keeps us going through the hard times – it is our faith that gets us up in the mornings, hanging in there with the knowledge that God is our strength and that He will get us through today with whatever it may bring.

When we are weak HE IS our strength even when we don’t feel it.
And He never promised that we would never go through trials, just that He would never leave us or forsake us.

Remember being weak does not make you less of a Christian, in fact sometimes being weak is the best place to be as it makes us totally dependant on our Lord and when we are totally dependant on Him things start to change.

So today I will throw myself into His arms, as without His strength I will just flounder and fail.
