Daily Word Friday 14 August 2009

Its interesting that Winston Churchill understood this truth, and truth it is, especially for the children of God Whose word tells us that ‘all things work to the good for those who love the Lord’.  Now it doesn’t say ‘all good things’ it says ‘ALL THINGS’ which in essence means that because we love God and desire to walk in His ways, He will turn even our mistakes around. 

If you are anything like me, the mistakes have been many, and enthusiasm is the last thing I have felt. But I can be truly thankful that GODS GRACE is greater than my enthusiasm and that His love and faithfulness have turned the worst situations around in my life, time and again.

 I can honestly say that without His influence in my life I would probably be sitting in a ditch somewhere ‘licking my wounds’, instead I am sitting here at my keyboard sharing my life and thoughts with precious friends all over the world. 

So don’t be afraid of making a wrong decision or of failing, but embrace life knowing that God goes not only before you but after you as well, turning your failures into priceless learning curves and ultimate victories.
