FOR KNOW THAT TO THIS YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED, THAT YOU MAY YOURSELVES INHERIT A BLESSING [FROM GOD – THAT YOU MAY OBTAIN A BLESSING AS HEIRS, BRINGING WELFARE AND HAPPINESS AND PROTECTION]. We all want well being, happiness and protection. In fact, we spend huge amounts of time and money pursuing this goal, often with little success. So today why don’t we try doing it Gods way, for His promise is, that as we choose to bless others, especially those who challenge us, we will be blessed with welfare, happiness and protection. And the cost? Maybe our pride and stubbornness, but certainly nothing more. It is time for us, as Christians, to stop taking the world’s advice and start really believing and living the Word of God.
