Yes, it’s true! McCoy’s Glass can now produce the largest Sealed Insulated Glass Units in SA (this is produced on production line – not by hand!)
McCoy’s Glass has just commissioned a state of the art Lisec Double Glazing line capable of producing units 4m x 2.5m!
The new McCoy’s manufacturing facility located in the recently acquired premises next to the current Alrode factory in Johannesburg is dedicated towards supplying the project market. The clear objective of this new operation is to supply the highest quality products in our industry
McCoy’s has invested in this facility in order to satisfy the growing demand for Energy Saving and Solar Control Glass Solutions.

Expanding for our Customers
With a recent acquisition, McCoy’s Glass is truly taking the lead in the laminated glass market, and has invested in a 3rd laminated glass production facility!
Why a 3rd line?
The growth in demand for our quality products has encouraged us to expand our production capacity. McCoy’s is well known for the highest quality laminates available with the best service, but we want to do better. Our third line started producing McLam® laminated safety glass last week. We are quite simply motivated and passionate to raise our service levels even higher. We want to deliver a wider range of product manufactured in the most efficient manner

Internal Sales
With the growth we have experienced in the past months we have increased our Internal Sales Department from a staff compliment of 3 to a team of 9. The McCoy’s Internal Sales Centre will be the best in the South African Glass Industry. We are totally 100% committed and determined to become world class and an absolute preference for anyone to deal with.

December Shut-down – Get your orders in!
All McCoy’s branches will remain open until 23rd December 2011. We will only be closing between Christmas and New Year. We will re-open for business on 3rd January 2012
With the end of the year upon us, we are encouraging customers to place orders as early as possible (morning is better than afternoon). Customers are encouraged to increase stock holding over this period
