DAILY WORD – THURSDAY 30^TH OCTOBER 2008

where has this year gone

The Lord has been speaking to me about Procrastination.

Very often, I put off doing things till later, (which never comes), but I am so glad that God doesn’t do that. Imagine if we needed something urgently and the Lord decided one day

·        “Maybe I will do it later”, or

·        “I just don’t feel like doing it now” or

·        “My favourite TV program is on tonight”

Why then when God tells us to do things we don’t put it as a high priority?

How many of us made new years resolutions, which before the end of January were broken?

We often waste so much time doing nothing, watching the stupid box (TV), filling our minds with useless information, then complain that we have no time. I OFTEN AM GUILTY OF THIS TOO.

Let us decide now, that as from the 1^st of November 2008 that God will be number one in our lives, and that when He speaks, we will listen and obey, not decide maybe LATER or whenever.

God has made us stewards of these bodies that we live in, use them wisely. Don’t abuse them.

HAVE YOUR TIME WELL SPENT THURSDAY.
