DAILY WORD – WEDNESDAY- 17^TH SEPTEMBER 2008

SOMETIMES FEEL LIKE YOUR SINKING UNDER THE PRESSURE OF LIVING?

On Monday, a dear friend of mine passed away, I spent the last few weeks of his life just by being a companion and friend to him.

During this time, he taught me a few lessons:

Your family is really special to you.

Be the best you that you can be.

Be happy with what you have, not what you want.

Accept things as they are, there are always some people in a worse situation than you.

Last week we went to an art gallery and we really enjoyed it, although some of the pictures looked like a child could have painted it, but as we further discussed it, we came to the conclusion that the value was actually the painters signature at the bottom of the picture, not necessary what the picture looked like on the outside.

We often think if only God would have made me taller,

We often think if only God would have made me wiser,

We often think if only God would have made me . . . . .,

We need to remember that after God had made us, he looked at us and said “IT IS GOOD”

Remember this week: 

“WHAT YOU ARE IS GOD’S GIFT TO YOU, WHAT YOU BECOME IS YOUR GIFT TO GOD’!

PRAYER – Lord help me not to look at the things around that would cause me to fall, but to look to you
