DAILY WORD – MONDAY 18^th AUGUST 2008

can’t i do TO you as this potter has done to his clay? as the clay is in the potters hand, so you are in my hand. (jeremiah 18:6)

There are times when we feel like a lump of clay, times that we don’t feel about ourselves what Gods Word says about us. Times when the forming of our character is painful and we feel ugly not beautiful.

But God is creating a masterpiece, creating our destiny!

There are times when our very resistance to Gods molding of us, causes us great pain, and it is hard to believe that we are in the Fathers hands.

But He is making us beautiful in His own likeness!

We need to trust in His great artistry, knowing that He knows the things that need to be changed and smoothed out of us that we might perfectly reflect His Glory.

He gives beauty for ashes.

Creates in us a new heart.

Renews our minds.

Anoints us with the oil of joy.

That we might become beautiful vessels filled with the Holy Spirit, that out of us might be poured, faith, love, joy, peace, patience, goodness and kindness, every facet of the personality of God Himself.

TODAY, LET GO AND LET GOD!
