OFF WITH THE OLD AND ON WITH THE NEW
I have found in my own life that when my mind becomes bogged down with the things of this world, I very soon lose perspective, become discouraged and ultimately start speaking negatively. I made a decision at the beginning of this year that if I could say nothing else in a difficult situation, I would open my mouth and say ‘I am blessed and highly favoured’.
I know through personal experience that we can have all the knowledge of Gods Word in our heads but in trying times, it is sometimes so hard to get the Word out of our mouths. The enemy bombards our minds with every possible negative outcome to our challenge because he wants us to believe his destiny for us and to open our mouths and come into agreement with him.
As Gods children, we will never find our answers in the world’s wisdom. If, as the Word tells us, our real life is hidden in Christ then the answers we need can only be found in Him. And if our lives are hidden in Christ, then so is our true destiny, hidden where Satan cannot corrupt it. Satan is the father of lies and the images that he bombards us with are his alternative realities for us.
We must not fall into the trap of entertaining these realities as truth. This is why we are given the instruction to set our minds on what is above, the kingdom of God and His destiny for our lives.
REMEMBER: FROM GLORY TO GLORY HE IS CHANGING YOU!!!!!!!!
