Daily Word Monday June 9, 2008 Psalm 29:11 (The Message) God makes his
people strong. What more could we want or need but strength and peace! Strength to walk with God in a world full of contempt and faithlessness, strength to stand for everything God stands for, strength to walk in love even when the going gets tough, and strength to trustingly yield ourselves body, mind and spirit to His wondrous workings in our lives. Peace in the midst of the storm, peace when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel, peace in the face of heartbreak and peace when it feels as if the whole world has turned its back on us. With Gods strength and peace we can climb the toughest mountains, pass through the deepest valleys, sail across the stormiest seas, and arrive at our destinations full of love and joy, rejoicing in the God of our salvation!!!!!
