God is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him. You were foolish to go for human help when you could have had God's help. Now you're in trouble—one round of war after another."

Isn’t this just the truth ---- how many of us know the consequences of heeding the voice of men in situations when we should have sought the council and direction of our Heavenly Father.

How often, in situations when we feel misjudged or misused, don’t we run from one friend to another seeking sympathy and advice, when all too often the only thing we succeed in doing is creating a ‘turf war’.

We need to remember that the only thing people can give us is advice and encouragement, and whilst we all need and benefit from this, there are times and circumstances when the only person we should be running to is The Lord, and lets face it, He is the very best place to go and He really is constantly looking out for us!!!!!!
