 Psalm 139 (New Living Translation)

16 You saw me before I was born.
      Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
   Every moment was laid out
      before a single day had passed.

 17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
      They cannot be numbered!
 18 I can’t even count them;
      they outnumber the grains of sand!
   And when I wake up,
      you are still with me!

We are not our disabilities!!!!

Not only does God know every day of our lives from beginning to end, but He never stops thinking of us and impacting our lives.

We live in a decaying world, in decaying bodies that are not yet in their glorified form --- so why do we feel that our disabilities are a reflection of our spirituality or of Gods love for us.

God knows what’s happening in our lives and knows how much we can handle and why we are called to the challenges we sometimes have to face even when it doesn’t make any sense to us.

No matter what your circumstances today GOD LOVES YOU and will work His grace and mercy into every aspect of your life.

So today ----

If you have no use of your legs --- remember you walk in Christ!

If you suffer some kind of internal problem ---- remember rivers of living water flow from your belly!

If you are deaf ----- remember you can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart!

If you are visually impaired ------ remember you can still see clearly with the eyes of the revelation and the vision of Almighty God!

If your body is weak and feeble ---- remember He is the strength of your life!

If you are alone or bereaved ----- remember He is the lover of your soul!

And even if you suffer from a mental illness or feel that you are loosing control of your mental faculties ------ remember always, that you have the mind of Christ!

No! You are not your disabilities, you are a child of the Living God and you are able to do all things in Him who holds you in the palm of His hands, and in whom mercy endures forever.
