DAILY WORD - TUESDAY – 25TH MARCH 2008

WHO ARE YOU TRUSTING IN TODAY?

We have just celebrated Easter in remembrance of the death and resurrection of our Lord and yet many of us will resume our every day lives today still carrying burdens of one kind or another.

We are not ‘dead men walking’ but rather we are children of the living God, having His resurrection life living in us. The problem is that so often we forget to ‘adhere to, trust in, and rely on’, and rather lean on our own understanding to get us through the day. We need to die to our own thoughts, opinions, attitudes and decisions, in order that we might live in the resurrected power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember this week:  Gods word in you ‘LET IT OUT’!

PRAYER – Lord I choose, today, to take hold of the truth that your resurrection life is in me. I choose, today, to lay down my life with all its thoughts and opinions, in order that your word can rise up in me, making me free to do it Your Way and not my way. I thank you that it is your truth and not my truth that that frees me from everything in and around my life that will try to entrap me today.
