Do you judge or love?
Today is my birthday and I have been thinking of my life until now and the people who have impacted it, both positively and negatively. I pondered on the things that have helped me get to where I am now, both spiritually and emotionally and two things stood out above the others: 1, the word of God and 2, the steadfast love of certain people in my life.
Today if you where to ask me for a word of wisdom, I would say: - judgment destroys, love never fails!!! At the lowest points in my life, when my faith was sorely challenged and my Christian character was sadly lacking, it was the love of faithful friends that often convinced me to push through to victory.
Yes, there were also people around in those times that judged and condemned me, and had I had only those voices to listen to, the ending to this story would possibly have been very different. So, my advice for you today?
Love those in your life that are struggling or failing. Let blessings and not curses come out of your mouth. Remember that love covers a multitude of sins. It does not expose, betray or belittle others.
REMEMBER: GOD’S LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!!!!!!!
