DAILY WORD - WEDNESDAY 13th FEBRUARY 2008
Prayer is an awesome process
Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
The criteria for asking and receiving through prayer are:
- Will what we are asking for glorify the Father?
- Is our request in accord with God's word?
- Would Jesus ask for the same?
- To ask in His name is to ask on His behalf
When our prayers measure up to these we can come boldly and ask – and it shall be done.
