DAILY WORD MONDAY 4TH FEBUARY 20081 John 5:5 (Amplified Bible)Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?
Believeing doesn't mean going out and conquering the 'world' in our own power and strength --- no to believe in our Saviour means to:---
Stick to Him like glue
Trust Him to guide our footsteps and
Rely on Him to keep us held in the palm of His hand
So today --- let us abandon ouselves into His hands, no matter what the cicumstances or how we feel, and He will stay faihfull to His Word!!!
