Daily Word Wednesday 9^th January 2008

Blessed be the Lord—
      day after day he carries us along.
   He's our Savior, our God, oh yes!
      He's God-for-us, he's God-who-saves-us.
   Lord God knows all

Psalm 68:19

Jesus is an everyday Saviour, an all knowing God, always there, always caring, always full of mercy and grace and always ready to carry us through the storms of life.

Our problem is that we don’t always like where He is carrying us; we want Him to carry us in the direction we want to take, the direction we think will bring us the most satisfaction in life. Then all too quickly, without even realizing, we jump out of His arms and run off in the wrong direction, and then, when it all falls apart, we cry in anger and frustration that God has let us down, that He doesn’t love us or care about what is happening to us.

God always cares --- God always wants to guide us ---- God always knows the right path for us ---- God never gives us what we think we need but what He knows we need ----- so today will we stay in His arms or run away ---- the choice is ours!!!!
