hebrews 13:5 – stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. for god has said, ‘i will never, never fail you nor forsake you.’
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS? If we set our sights on the things of this world, the new car, a bigger house, that overseas trip, a better job etc. etc. we will wonder why, even when we get the things we want, we continue to feel unsatisfied. We were created for ‘outreach not inreach’ so setting our hearts and minds on our wants and needs is a sure way to
become despondent and un-fulfilled. God has promised that He will never fail us and He knows better than us what we need.
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires or your heart. This is the key to contentment; intimacy with God. When we spend time in His presence everything else falls away except the desire to share His love and mercy with others. And as we reach outwards to be a blessing to
those around us, we receive, straight from heaven, every good thing that God has stored up for
us.
