Let’s face it life feels a lot safer from inside ‘the egg’ and we don’t have to risk falling when we try to fly.

On the other hand there’s not much to see from the inside of an egg and definitely no room to grow let alone fly, in fact we would eventually just shrivel up and die with nothing to show for our existence.

In order to fly we have to be willing to step off the ledge and trust that the wind will carry us upward and away; and what benefits, what glorious views and wonderful experiences lie in store for us there.

So lets not be afraid to break out of our shells, step out of ‘the egg’, and  just trust in the knowledge that the ‘wind’ of The Holy Spirit will carry us upward and onward!
