Daily Word Friday 2^nd November 2007

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."  Deuteronomy 31:8 (New International Version)

There are times in our lives when we feel as if there is no-where to go and no-one to go to; times when it seems that our backs are up against a wall and we stand alone. But the truth is that we are never alone and God is always on our side, even when we’ve messed up and gone off in the wrong direction.

In times such as these it is no good trying to re-trace our steps, with the hope of untangling the mess we’re in, and so reconcile ourselves back to God.

What we need to do is just be honest with God, admit that we’ve ‘missed the boat’ somewhere, and trust Him to lead us back into the centre of His destiny for us.

So today you may be discouraged, you may feel afraid; afraid of where you are and of where you’re going, but God has a plan! No matter if you can’t see it, no matter if you can’t feel it, God is on YOUR SIDE, and He will not allow you to be devoured and destroyed by the circumstances that surround you.

SO LET GO AND LET GOD!!!!!!!
