All that passing laws against sin did, was produce more lawbreakers. But sin didn't, and doesn't, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it's sin versus grace, grace wins hands down. All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that's the end of it. Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end. Romans 5:20-21

What fantastic encouragement to keep on going with God!

I know in my own life there have been times when it felt like grace just wasn’t enough, when the sin I was battling against seemed stronger than the grace of God; times when I felt that victory was a lifetime away.

But I had forgotten that the God I serve does not slumber or sleep, does not grow weary or give up, and never runs out of love, grace and mercy.

This God is love, aggressive unrelenting love that pursues us, love stronger than death and love more powerful than sin.

This God loves you and me and there is nothing in our lives that this love can’t overcome!

So today, if you feel like you are drowning in the sea of your own mistakes, just let go and let love! Surrender to this awesome God who loves you far better than you could ever love yourself. Let His love and grace rescue you from yourself with all your doubts and fears. Let Him be your Hero!!!!
