Daily Word Thursday 19^th July 2007

Hi beloved of God,

Well I am back in South Africa again and have at last managed to sit down at my computer (just in case you thought I had left the planet) and so the first thing I am doing is reconnecting with you all.

My trip was really blessed and God ordained, which just goes to show how God can use us if we are willing to ‘go with His flow’.

One thing that has been really highlighted for me during this time is that our walk with the Lord is truly a ‘day by day’ life style, and if we surrender to what God is doing in and through us, He will give us the grace to face whatever each day may bring and walk in the victory that Jesus bought for us at Calvary.

And so today I am not surprised at the scripture the Lord has bought to my attention, Hebrews 3:4 which says ----

For of course every house is built and furnished by someone, but the Builder of all things and the Furnisher [of the entire equipment of all things] is God!

What a person builds and furnishes, he or she maintains; likewise what God has started to build in our lives He will furnish with His Glory, and maintain by His Spirit.

Minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, remain ‘In Christ’ Who Is the Author and Finisher of YOUR FAITH!!!!
