Turn my heart towards your statutes and not towards selfish gain.

Hmmm interesting scripture, I wonder how many of us really want to utter the request above, and yet to understand this prayer we have to understand that it is not in mans worldly nature to choose Gods statutes above selfish desires.

David asked God to turn his heart because he knew that his flesh would not do so willingly, and in the same way we need to ask God to change our hearts and desires.

So don’t feel guilty if you don’t want to do things Gods way today, just be honest with Him and surrender to his loving hand that will turn your failures into victories.

Remember from glory to glory HE is changing you ---- let go and let Him finish what He has started ---- He is busy creating a masterpiece!
