Daily Word – Monday 26 March 2007

Unrelenting disappointments leave you heartsick,
   but a sudden good break can turn life around. [Proverbs 13:12]

I am sure, that like me, there have been times in your life when it seemed that the bad times would never end; constant disappointment, wave upon wave of, what seemed to be, never-ending problems left you wondering if God had forgotten you existed.

What we need to hold on to during these times is that we serve the God of good breaks, the God of ‘suddenlys’. Often when it seems that we just can’t go on and that we are ‘backed up against a wall’, when our faith levels seem to be hitting ‘rock bottom’ ---- suddenly the breakthrough comes and often from a totally unexpected source or in a totally unexpected way.

Our God is never early and never late, His timing is always perfect even though, for us, it may not feel like it, so today if you feel at ‘the end of your rope’, hang on because your ‘suddenly’ is on its way.

LIVE ‘IN CHRIST’ NOT CRISIS ------ BELIEVE ‘THE WORD’ NOT ‘THE WORLD’!!!!!
