Daily Word – Friday 23 March 2007

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. [Ephesians 6:10]

In conclusion, finally, after everything else already said, we are told to be strong in the Lord; not in ourselves, our talents and abilities, intelligence or personality, but in THE LORD!

Our greatest strengths are to be found in our relationship with Him who holds the universe in His hands. We can have all knowledge, be able to recite the bible from beginning to end, and have a life dedicated to good works, but without a relationship with Jesus all we really have is religion, and religion at the end of the day is legalistic, self-righteous, and drives us to try in ourselves to gain Gods approval. 

In Him, in Christ, in His love, His grace, His power and His glory, is everything we need to become everything He created us to be!!!

Live in ‘CHRIST’ not ‘CRISIS’!!!!      Believe ‘THE WORD’ not ‘THE WORLD’!!!!

PS --- thank you all so much for your love and best wishes on the birth of my grand-daughter. She is my 6^th grandchild so I am greatly blessed as each and every one of them is precious beyond words.
