Daily Word – Friday 09 March 2007

 THEN GOD spoke all these words:

 I am the Lord your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of    bondage. You shall have no other gods before or besides Me. 

[Exodus 20:1-3]

Is God really first in our lives?

F finances

I  interests

R relationships

S schedules

T troubles

Is God really first in our lives, or do our finances control our every move, or maybe our hobbies take all our time and energy, or maybe we’re involved in unhealthy relationships that are not submitted to God.

And what about our schedules, are we too busy for God? Do our troubles so overwhelm us that we just give up rather than go to God?

I think there have probably been times for all of us when one of the above has been true in our lives, times when like the Israelites, we have hankered for the things of Egypt (the world) and forgotten what God has done for us.

Rest assured God loved us first and nothing has changed. His love will  break though every barrier in our lives; nothing, no nothing can ever separate us from His love!

Live in ‘CHRIST’ not ‘CRISIS’!!!!      Believe ‘THE WORD’ not ‘THE WORLD’!!!!
