Daily Word – Wednesday 07 March 2007 

"You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you'll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren't willing to receive from me the life you say you want.  [John 5:39-40]

Many people say that they find it hard to understand the bible; many others read it legalistically and then, either feel unable to meet the mark, or walk in judgment of others.

What Jesus makes clear in the scripture above, is that without being in relationship with Him we are likely to either stumble over The Word or misinterpret it.

Jesus is the Living Word of God and without Him the Bible becomes just another book devoid of life giving power, but with Him it becomes alive, every word rooting itself in our innermost being, saving, delivering, healing and changing us.

JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT; LET HIM LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE!
