Daily word – 20 February 2007

The Lord nurses them when they are sick and eases their pain and discomfort. [Psalm 41:3]

By the stripes of Jesus we are healed! Some days we all need some form of healing, whether it is spiritual emotional or physical. A deep wound can take time to heal, for God sometimes has to expose our sinfulness before

He can heal our pain. We pray for healing, but remember that God has His own perfect timing. God can heal us instantly or He will perform His perfect healing over time.

God will heal our spiritual and emotional pains, but doesn’t always heal our physical diseases or disabilities. God has His reasons for healing us or not, for He knows our future and sometimes healing a person is within His perfect plan, and sometimes it isn’t.

Remember that we are all sinful and nobody will be completely healed until we one day stand in the glory of God!

When God’s healing hand touches us, we must thank Him and tell others about His power and mercy!

Don’t be impressed by your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and

Turn your back on evil. Then you will gain renewed health and

vitality. [Proverbs 3:7; 8]
