Daily Word – Thursday 8 February 2007

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and committing yourself firmly to Him. This is the key to your life”. [Deut 30:19-20]

Long before life coaches and counselors starting talking about ‘the keys to success’ God gave us ‘His keys’ needed to live in the abundance of His blessings.

The great thing about ‘Gods keys’, is that the ability to implement them in our lives is not dependant on our intelligence, intellectualism, education or strength of personality.

Gods keys are based on love, obedience and commitment; loving Him, obeying Him and totally committing to Him by throwing ourselves into His hands with glorious abandonment.

And the cherry on the top, is that He gives us the desire and ability to just that. When we choose Him every single day, in every situation, we choose LIFE!!!!!
