Daily Word – Tuesday 06 February 2007Just as water mirrors your face, Often we don’t realize how much our facial expressions reveal, and how much they affect the people around us. Sometimes a smile, at the right time, can say more than a thousand words, whereas a frown, even if not meant to, can be interpreted by others as disapproval and judgment. Make no mistake our faces mirror the truth of our hearts and no matter how we may try to put a mask on, our true feeling about someone or something will eventually show through. If we want our faces to reflect the Love of God, we need to have the Love of God in our hearts, and we will never get it right by begging God to change other people or our circumstances. Praising and trusting God in all our situations is the most powerful way to overcome the plans of the enemy, and the only successful way to walk in the Love of God, with even the most challenging of people, is to pray ‘Lord change me’. When we allow God to change our hearts, our reactions will change which, more often than not, brings change to the whole situation. If you want your face to mirror the Character and Love of God, let the Love of God into your heart!!! Believe ‘THE WORD’ not ‘THE WORLD’!!!!
