Daily Word – Monday 11 December 2006

  God is not a man, so he does not lie.
      He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
   Has he ever spoken and failed to act?
      Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
  Listen, I received a command to bless;
      God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it!  [Numbers 23:19-20]

Balaam spoke these words to King Balak who offered to pay Balaam if he would put a curse on Gods people, but Balaam knew that he had no power to reverse Gods blessings over those He loved.

We serve the same God today, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and no one can reverse His promises over our lives if we continue to abide in Him and His Word, resting and trusting in His grace to complete the work he has started in us.

No matter what your circumstances, no matter how the enemy may try to defeat you, YOU are blessed and NOTHING can reverse the plans of God in the lives of those who trust in Him!

So today, keep growing in His grace, He has great things planned for your life!!!!
