Daily Word – Monday 20 November 2006

I'm asking God for one thing,
      only one thing:
   To live with him in his house
      my whole life long.
   I'll contemplate his beauty;
      I'll study at his feet.

 That's the only quiet, secure place
      in a noisy world,
   the perfect getaway,
      far from the buzz of traffic. [Psalm 27:4-5]

Sometimes the demand of daily living is like a constant noise that slowly wears us down.

The only way we will cope with the day to day challenges of this world, is to find rest in God, to remain at His feet, saturated and empowered by His love and grace.

So if you want to stay ‘on your feet’ this week, start the day on your knees!!
