Daily Word – Thursday 02 November 2006

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!  [2 Corinthians 12:9]

Our Lord never promised us a life free from troubles and challenges but He did promise us the power to endure.

We don’t have to feel strong enough, spiritual enough, or even intelligent enough to make it through lifes valleys,

for it is by grace that we are saved each and every day of our lives. Our salvation is not dependant on who we are or what we can do, but on Who He Is and what He did on the cross at Calvary!

So if you’re in the valley today, rejoice, for you are held in the hand of The Almighty God and His love and grace never fails!

Keep walking with Jesus,

Much love,

Chrissy.
