Daily Word – Monday 23 October 2006Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived. [Galatians 6:1-3] In todays world people generally adopt an ‘I’m all right Jack’ attitude, preferring not to ‘get involved’. We are encouraged to store up our excess in case of a ‘rainy day’ and fear of lack drives us into self preservation. What is even more diabolical is a self righteous attitude that has crept into the church that says that if a Christian is going through difficult times, they must in some way have bought it upon themselves. In this way they excuse their own hard heartedness and self centeredness. This is not the Christ-like life we have been called to. We have been commissioned to love one another and share one anothers burdens. So today, reach out and touch the life of someone who is hurting. Share whatever you can even if its just a hug, a word of encouragement, a meal or help with transport to a doctors appointment etc. Remember, if we are faithful in the little things God will supply the bigger things, that we might be an even greater blessing to others. Have a merciful Monday, Much love, Chrissy. WRITE TO US AT - P.O. Email us on: info@worshiphim.co.za Visit us on our updated web page http://www.worshiphim.co.za
