Daily Word – Friday 20 October 2006

Stay right at the center of God's love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life! [Jude 21]

If we want Gods grace and mercy to flow constantly in our lives we need to guard our hearts from resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness; quickly recognizing when we have opened ourselves to offense.

Walking in the love of God is what we were created for; first towards our Heavenly father and then to one another. We need to extend our arms upwards and outwards demonstrating the love of God in all circumstances; resisting gossip and criticism, and keeping our eyes firmly fixed on our own walk with the Lord, and not other peoples, knowing that from glory to glory He is changing all of us.

Remember: --- Love never fails and lasts throughout eternity!
